Rolex "Destro": Watches for Left-Handed People
Rolex has accustomed us to "surprises" throughout its history, but the recent right-handed GMT-Master II, with the crown and date display positioned on the left, has really sparked discussion among enthusiasts. The "asymmetrical" design has divided the public: some consider it innovative, others deem it "cross-eyed."
Until recently, it was thought that Rolex had never mass-produced watches for left-handed people, making them exclusively to order. Among the most famous models is the Oyster Perpetual worn by Charlie Chaplin, the brilliant actor and director also known for his unique style and bowler hat.
Despite the scant information on these watches, they are genuine rarities. I was fortunate enough to admire one many years ago, and I must say that, despite the innovation of the new right-hand GMT, I find something nostalgic and fascinating in the historic models.

I was fortunate enough to admire one many years ago, and I must say that, despite the innovation of the new right-hand GMT, I find something nostalgic and fascinating in the historic models.
