Tra questi, i codici impressi sulle garanzie rivestono un ruolo essenziale: permettono di identificare l’anno di produzione, il Paese di vendita e, in alcuni casi, il concessionario ufficiale.

Come decifrare i codici delle garanzie USA?
Negli Stati Uniti, tra gli anni ’70 e ’80, le garanzie Rolex presentavano un particolare codice a lettere timbrato in rosso o in nero.
Questo codice, apparentemente “casuale”, serviva in realtà a identificare la data in cui l’orologio arrivava presso il rivenditore autorizzato americano.
Per decifrarlo, Rolex utilizzava un sistema noto come “schema ROLEX WATCH”, in cui ogni lettera corrisponde a un numero.
Applicando questa chiave di lettura, si ottiene un numero che rappresenta la data (formato americano mm/dd/yyyy).

Rolex Country Code: Codici Paese sulle garanzie Rolex
Ogni garanzia Rolex riporta un codice numerico a 3 cifre, noto come Country Code, che indica il Paese di destinazione originale dell’orologio.
